New stuff!!!
These flip-flops are so sweet, I just had to get them! Inside the flower petals, which are like a see-through screen type of material, there are beads that roll around and sparkle as you walk. I can't wait to wear them!
(This pic makes me dizzy!!)

I just fell in love with this bag! It is the most vivid orange I have ever seen, with a lime green interior. I've been looking all Summer for a purse. Finally, one that I love. Best part was that it was only $5.99. No shit. Gotta love Gabes!

Wednesdays ramblings and observations....
1) At Fashion Bug, with a gift card from Christmas. Fun!
2) Running boring errands.
3) Thanking the heavens for the all day rain.
4) Thanking the heavens, again, for the lower temps.
5) Wondering if I should call my brother, or if the card I sent him will serve the same purpose. (Saying Hi without all the life-discussing bullshit that I loathe).

The Colorado "Big Ass House" has arrived...

This is my Sis-in-law Terri and her family's soon to be new home in Colorado. It has like 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a media room and all that happy horse shit. I can't wait to visit. (They can have the mortgage.) I'll take the ammenities, thank you. ;)

Hotel smell......
I was delivering some Avon orders to our local Senior apartments, and I noticed, as usual, the odor/scent/smell wafting through the halls, reminds me of the same smell you have in a hotel. That hotel smell. I can't describe it, but you know it when you smell it. I guess it's kind of a carpet/paint/cleaning fluids smell. Weird thing is, I like it. *shakes head* I don't know what this means.

Back from da 'Burgh.......
and the livin's easy. Damn I'm glad to be back in my itty bitty little cozy cottage house near the little cozy lake. We were at my Sis in laws new "Big Ass House" on Saturday for a Luau party (as I mentioned in a previous post) and I must say I had a super nice time. Curious though, that the only thing "Luauish" there were the leis that we got at the door. The theme died after that. Hmmmmm.
Anyhoo, the weather was perfect, everyone who came was chatting, and laughing, and eating, and drinking and just enjoying the day at Casa de Big Ass House. We left a bit later than I thought we should have, and the ones who were too many sheets to the wind to count were starting to get on my basic nerves with the usual "I love you man" bullshit, to which I told my drunk-in-law Lonnie to quote, "Just shut the hell up" to which he asked, "Why?" and I replied, "just because", to which he mumbled, "okay". Brilliant.

We arrived at my folks house to stay the night waaaaay later than I had hoped, thanks to Hubby, but that's a whole other story. Needless to say I was tired, and not happy with Hubby. Grrrrr.

On Sunday, we headed to my brothers old house, (he's divorced, and his ex-wife lives in the house with the kids), for my nephew Mikes 13th birthday. It was the first time since the divorce 2 years ago that we and they have all been at the house at the same time. Finally, some of the weirdness is going away. We had a nice time, with lots of great food, and conversation. But, unlike the day before at Casa de Big Ass House where we were for like 8 hours, we left after only 2 hours. This happens frequently. Another story for another time.

By the time we arrived home, I felt like I was run over by a steam roller from lack of sleep, rushing around, tension. Glad to be back home in the comfort zone. In my little lake cottage bungalow. Ahhhhhh.
