Bradbury babble.
I've been getting back into borrowing books from the library,(fall always brings out my love for a good book!), and one of the titles I checked out last week was Ray Bradburys "Something wicked this way comes", thinking it sounded like a great Halloween-time read. Well, I'm sure it would have been if I didn't have to read and re-read alot of Rays flowery worded sentences. Damn. Maybe it's my mid-life brain getting all tangled up in the colorful descriptions of, well, fuckin' everything. I dunno. I just want to sit down with a good book, that has a good story to tell, and that flows along to a great ending. If I have to read a sentence four friggin' times, to figure out what the author's trying to convey, the book's going back on the shelf. This one flew back. I've checked out one more of his books, "The October Country". If this reads the same, I think I'm done with reading Ray.

Seeing double, double.....
I've been experiencing something for quite awhile now, and I have to say, it's not only starting to really freak me out, alot, but it's also getting aggrivating. I just don't know what it means. Here's my dilema, and this happens all day, everyday....when I look at numbers, wether it's the time or a receipt, whatever, they come up in doubles or triples. Examples, I look at the time and it's 1:11, or 2:22, etc. Last week , in one day, I had a gas receipt for $14.14 (the pump stopped there by itself), a Sheetz receipt for $4.44, and a Giant Eagle receipt for $29.29. Then add in all the clock doubles/triples throughout the day. What the hell is this shit all about? I even yell to my Hubby when it happens and he's around so he can see what I mean. I swear he thinks I'm nutty. I dunno. Am I supposed to play the lottery or something?

Where the hell are all the clothes?
I was just watching the show What Not to Wear, and I found it pretty odd that as the "fashion victim" leaves the taxi, and the hosts say that she/he has brought all of their old wardrobe with them.........they only have like, one suitcase on wheels, a duffle bag, and a 'lil bitty small tote bag. WTF? This is their whole fuckin' wardrobe? I took more clothes than that on my Florida trip last year, damn it. I mean, you'd think they'd be unloading big bags of stuff out of that taxis trunk, eh? Maybe that's why they're all so goddamned happy to be getting the new wardrobe. They don't have any friggin' clothes to begin with.

No chickens allowed.
I want to go to a Haunted Maze this coming Halloween night. At midnight. I think it would be a blast! What are the odds that I'll find someone who isn't a chickenshit, to go with me?

A scarecrow addiction.....
Just what I needed, something new to keep me glued to my computer screen......A Murder of Scarecrows game. I don't kmow what has me more addicted...the game, the creepy music, or the combination of the two. Fun! Very Halloweenish! Thanks to Downtown Chick Chat for sharing the link!

Please read if you have a dog you love.
I was online researching some dog flea and tick repellant products, when I came across this disturbing web page with reports of tragic consequences to pets when using BioSpot, and a few other over-the-counter products. It changed my mind pretty quick about even considering using any of these products. Please research before putting any of these products on your beloved pet. Some are way safer than others.

Crazy hormones.......chill out.
Well, I kinda went "underground" for a few days, to re-group myself together. I do this from time to time, kinda pull back and take inventory of my self, then hide away for awhile 'till I figure shit out, and hopefully come out the other side wiser, calmer and better. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way though, and I'm still a bitchy confused broad when I emerge, and this pisses me off even more. Luckily, that doesn't happen very often. Anyhoo, this time around, I've been dealing with more serious issues......my entering "Mentalpause", and how I'm going to handle all the wild shit that is going on, and will go on in my future. Really near future. This is wacky shit I'll tell ya, and seeing as my Mom didn't tell me a damn thing, I'm on my own to find out what the hell's up, and what I need to do to stay healthy, and not kill or maim my spouse while my hormones are all over the place. They call it puberty in reverse. Great fuckin' shit. That's just what I was hoping for right about now. Well, at least I've come up with a game plan, and so far it seems to be working. More about my plan later....this gal is gettin' tired. Nighty night little lambies.
