Wow! It's been awhile since I've been here. Healing myself after surgery has been priority one, so this took a bit of a back seat. Let's bring things up to speed, shall we?

Friday August 9
Saw the doctor in the afternoon, and he took off my little steri-strips, and gave me two "thumbs up" on my progress. Great. Off to work for 6 hours, my first day back in over a week. It was really nice when I walked in the door at work, everyone saying they missed me, and were glad to see me back. Nice to be missed and needed. Needless to say it made me feel wonderful! The day was okay, although as I got toward evening, my stomach began to cramp up a bit. Uncomfortable, but I can deal with it. It's just letting me know that there's still mending going on in there. Easy does it, now.


Saturday August 10
Headed off to work in the morning for a 7 hour day. Nothing to eventful to report about my day, my sales were shit, and by 5, I was ready to head home for three days of R&R.


Sunday August 11
What a wonderful way to start the day........sleeping in till 11, then Hubbs made us all pancakes that were soooooo yummy! Nick and I rode up to Erie to get him some new shoes. We found one pair at Value city Dept. Store and one at DSW Warehouse. I think he was happy with what he found, and I was happy to spend some time with him. Later in the day, I took the "Vettester" out for a couple of drives, and then just chilled out at the house the rest of the day. Great Sunday indeed!


Monday August 12

I saw a neat little CD boombox in a Circuit City ad in the Sunday paper, so I decided to drive up and get one. I picked one up, drove home, and the freakin' remote didn't work. Shit I was pissed, as now I'd have to drive back up there and get another one. Now it's not that it's a long drive, about 15 minutes is all, but I wasn't in the mood to waste my time going back where I just was. I have better things to do on my day off. well, I packed it all up, and headed back to the store. This time I had the chick there test it out for me, and she was really nice about the whole thing. As I headed out, I thought I hadn't been to Platos closet for awhile, so I stopped in and found two really sharp tops for $5.00 each! I love this bargain shopping shit. It's like a friggin' drug to me! Then I drove over to Nicks work, but he was busy in the stock room and I didn't want to bother him. So I told his boss to tell him that I'd stopped by, and I was outta there. Well, since I was next to a Fashion Bug, I thought what the hell, pop in and see what they have to tempt me with. I found a cut pair of seersucker pants 50% off, so they were only like $3.75 or something, and I found two colognes I liked, and they were only 2/$10.00! Yeeeha! Jackpot again! Well, after all this I haeded home as I was starving. I ate a mac and cheese dinner, put on my new lounge pants, and spritzed on a bit of my new cologne. Oh, and a bit of cool jazz on the boombox..........life sure is good. Nuff said
